Health Program

We provide basic health care assistance and promote healthy lifestyles. Our health services include annual preventive medical exams; free medical for special medical needs; emergency medical aid; referrals and treatment subsidy for serious medical cases; preventive and curative dental care; anti-parasite treatment; immunizations such as for Hepatitis B; hygiene kits provision and; Pulmonary Tuberculosis Directly Observed Treatment Service (PTB DOTS) in line with our “Kick TB Program."

Our health education includes workshops on general health and nutrition for parents, as well as peer-to-peer education organized by Youth Health Corps members who teach teenagers about reproductive health and good health habits.

The organization also donates medical and hospital supplies to government tertiary hospitals providing services to sponsored children and the poor. Through our Emergency Medical Fund, Children International assists many sick, diseased or injured children each year who suffer from serious medical conditions.
